Mrs. Anamaria Reys Resende
Mrs Anamaria Reys Resende is a “carioca”, born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, she moved to Brasília when she was fourteen-years-old, where she graduated in Law, at the Universidade de Brasília – UNB.
She worked as labor lawyer at the beginning of her professional career at Riedel, Resende Advogados Associados office in Brasília, and for fourteen years as a Federal Attorney for the Brazilian National Institute of Social Security, also in Brasília.
Then, she became a Federal Judge and, at the time she worked in Brasília, she composed, as an invited judge, the Court of the 1st Regional Federal Regional Tribunal, for three years. Afterwards, she worked for the Federal Sectional Court in Minas Gerais and in Rio de Janeiro.
As a judge, Anamaria dealt with several criminal and civil cases against the Federal Public Administration, but due to the excessive number of shares distributed to each judge, she started feeling the necessity of dealing with the people behind those papers.
Mrs. Anamaria Reys Resende is a woman that likes to talk, meet people and travel. She had taken extracurricular course in Lisbon about “Law at the Third Millennium” and in Rome about “International Law”. She speaks Portuguese, English and has some knowledge of Spanish.
